Dan Davey

Hi, I’m Dan, part of the Mortgage Advisor Support team. I’ve been working in the mortgage industry for the past year, after transitioning from a background in the flooring industry. I started as a flooring installer, then moved into sales before deciding to pursue a career in finance. I’ve since completed my Mortgage Advisor Level 5 qualification, and my ultimate goal is to become a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor here at Opes Mortgages.

In my current role, I’m responsible for reviewing and processing loan applications, ensuring that all required documentation is in place, and helping clients navigate the lending process. I’m committed to making the process as smooth and straightforward as possible, ensuring our clients feel supported every step of the way. 

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the food scene around Christchurch with my fiancée Courtney. We love trying new restaurants and cafes, and it’s even more fun with our one-year-old pup, Charlie in tow. Whether it’s discovering new places, or enjoying a meal together, I’m all about making the most of time with loved ones.
